Sandy has been teaching drumkit at Chalmers Mackay now for 12 years. He has a qualification in Dip Mus T ICMA Percussion Teaching. He specializes in all styles of kit playing. He has an extensive grounding in Country-Rock due to working as a professional musician with the award winning Scottish band "Colorado" and the "Ruby Rendall Band" spending over 15 years 'on the road'. Sandy uses the Trinity Guild Hall Board for his pupil's exams and has entered many successful candidates over the years.
His hobbies include: golf, skiing, reading and recording (he has a 24 track recording studio at his home).
