Katrina Eadie

I first started teaching at Chalmers Mackay Music School in 1999 and since then I’ve taught pupils of all ages.  It’s always been my aim to find methods of teaching which suit the individual.  Currently I teach mainly classical music but pupils also enjoy learning music from their favourite films and radio hits.  During the summer holidays flute trios and quartets give pupils a chance to relax and enjoy playing; we learn a mixture of music from classical, film, and Jazz.  Music can open doors to meeting new people as well, encouraging pupils to partake in workshops, concerts, and bands can really boost their confidence.

There are always new things to learn when you play an instrument.  This year I’m taking part in St Andrews University, Certificate in Jazz course as well as continuing to expand my collection of classical repertoire.
